Shield Storage - 4450 N Jones Blvd

This is my first experience renting from shield storage and it has been great. I really appreciate the awesome customer service I received both on the phone and in person when I signed the lease for the unit. The facility is nice and clean. My unit is very spacious, climate controlled, and even has a light. The price is super affordable too.

Excellent climate controlled storage unit. Good lighting. Conformable to visit, even when the sun's gone down.

I parked my 35' motor home at this location. They were very nice and showed my my space before I went in to park. The paperwork went quickly and they had me on my way in a timely manner.

Great price for what it is. Rented a covered spot to park our travel trailer. Was very difficult to get to with no room to back it in. Overall pleased just a tight fit.

For 2 days I would get off work real close to the time all the facilities closed. Friday i was able to get off 15 minutes earlier. We had a reservation at another place, however it just wasn;t what we wanted and much further from our home. It was 20 minutes til closing time for him however, John went ahead and got us into a unit. He was professional, swift and kind since he didn;t have to stay late to do it. However, my stress level must of shown on my face, moving and all that goes with it is the most stressful time I believe for anyone. Working and not being able to secure a unit and pack and get the uhaul truck back on time takes its toll. So for JOHN to stay and help me out helped me not have a nervous breakdown! Thank you John,

Your price is wrong. Sparefoot had the unit for $45 per month with 2 months at 1/2 off. Actual price is $52 per month with 1 month @ 1/2 price...

I rented a unit here recently and it was advertised as 269$ w half off for the first two months. The charge for my first month was 207$ they REQUIRE insurance, through THEM at inflated rates, require too a lock purchased through THEM (an inferior lock in my opinion for a whopping 16$!) And also add 25$ admin fee. And of course tax is also added. So im thinking 137.50 which turned into 207$ adding 70 to 135 is over 33 prct higher. We didn't complain. But then after moving everything in to this 10 x 30 unit we were told by management that the 50 percent discount was only good for one month. We were going to rent a second unit,but not for an eventual rate of over 800$a month! That's insane! We could rent a 1500 square foot house with a garage and live there with our things for 800$ a month! I went back online and sure enough, it still shows the discount is for two months as I said to begin with. Not sure if the discount will be honored I haven't heard back from anyone as of yet.

Rude behavior attitude. Hours on door said 9 I got there at 10 door was locked. Guy sitting at desk big 509 lb guy. He opened door. I asked are u closed. He said obviously. I said then why it says 9 am on the door for office hours. And why you let us in. Then he told us get out. I had kid and daughter..he was VERY RUDE Claiming two sides property obviously I should went to other. Well it was obvious it said office on the bld by door so obviously that to any person means office check in there. Duhhhh I ASKED FIR MGR he said he WAS THE MGR. I SAID there owner over You he argued NO I AM MGR AND NO INE OVER ME....RUDERUDE RUDE

I needed something for my classroom materials for the summer. This facility had a great price for a climate controlled unit. Really like the extended access hours. Staff was very helpful. Online special helped make my decision.

Clean facility quick service. Close to the office, will be looking for a larger unit in a couple months, this works out for us in a growth period thanks for your assistance.
