Manager Darcy is TERRIFIC. She is Friendly , Helpful and Knows her job and does it well. She immediately contacted me after reserving a unit online and when I spoke to her she made me feel so welcomed . We show up and instantly took care of business .She even was willing to accomendate us with a friendly phone call to another location when we asked about discount rather than saying no she gave us the option to choose so we can save money when we walked out to go check out the other location we took two steps out the door and turned around and told her we wanted a unit from her .my husband and I know a good thing when we see it .Darcy is very special she really sincerely went above and beyond to help us and so nice when you run into people like Darcy you don’t walk away from them you keep them .Thank you Darcy for your kindness and being so helpful you’re one of a kind and you run a tight ship with class that’s why I had to turn around and be part of your storage community I feel safe with you and am delighted .You deserve recognition .I hope your company reads this because you are a KEEPER !!!!! I’ve never had a need to use a self storage Facility. I decided to use Self Storage to see what was available near me. I was able to easily use their site to narrow down my selection. The sales associate who called me was very knowledgeable and talked me through the ends and outs. I then visited the facility I chose. It was clean and affordable. Again, the sales associate was very helpful explained every detail. I am happy with my new storage unit and the entire process was painless.

This place is great, but the reason for my 3 stars, and a the only reason... this place does not provide moving carts after the office closes. The office closes at 6pm. Majority of people work during the day and want to move in the evening time, ESPECIALLY IN THIS LAS VEGAS SUMMER HEAT!!!!! But this places excuse for not having moving carts available after hours, "people tend to steal our carts"... are you kidding me? That's like a restaurant saying, "we know you need forks to eat, but since people might steal them, your SOL.." You're a storage facility. You should be providing moving carts.

This storage place has a great location, very nice, clean and friendly staff. I rented a 10X15 and cost $150 and I think this is too pricy than competitor. I am glad they give discount for 3 months. Overall I loved it and easy access.

they really need to emphasize that you cannot be IN the facility after 11pm or you will be locked in FOR GOOD. People are under the impression that you can get out, but not in after 11pm. NOT THE CASE. we were locked in the there was NO EMERGENCY number and NO ONE answered. it was pure hell b/c they have to have some type of emergency 24 hour number to call and contact someone or the lazy person at the desk could have REALLY drilled it into the residents brain that this is an absolute must to be out by 11pm sharp.
Good customer service, price is good; however, I think there is room for improvement as well as not liking having to buy insurance from them.

Storage area not clean had problems with front gate

Entrance gate is open all day, so there is no control over who is entering the facility. The climate controlled building was very warm inside. I was told the air conditioner was blowing only on one side of the building...not my side, obviously. I wish this information had been shared as I was filling out the rental contract. During move in, I decided to keep the unit through the 3-month move-in special period. If the A/C issue is not resolved by then, I will change units or move to another facility.

I like how they security system works. If they close at a certain time and u are inside the gate, it will not open at all so either you will have to jump or sleep in your car. That makes me feel safe about my storage if someone were to get into it and will not be able to get out. They also have cheap supplies to buy from. When I was renting a storage at uhaul before lifestorage, I noticed that they had very expensive supplies even the smallest things like a box or tape. Most of all the options for making a payment caught my attention, there's 3 options not just 1. Life storage is the storage for me.

The price online and the price offer by employee onsite of LifeStorage of Spring Valley was different. Online price was $25.00 w/ no mention of 50% off for the 1st 3mo. Rebate of first months rent. When the employee onsite offered 50% off the 1st 3mo., I didn't realize the $25 was the 50% off price. Online there was no mention of mandatory customer protection insurance or disc lock purchase. The customer should have the option to decline insurance if he/she feels the property they own is less than the minimum of $3000 customer protection insurance and bring their own lock. When this option is available please notify. This will help my budget. On my second visit to my unit I realized the disc lock I was sold came w/ a spare key that did not work. I mention this fact to the employee, Ashley, onsite to get my lock exchanged. I was annoyed, the lack of authority, she had to exchange the lock that day and write a report about the incident. She took four days to get authority from the owner to simple exchange a unsatisfactory lock to one that works. Everybodys time and fuel is expensive. Now I need to schedule time out of my busy life and resources to go exchange a faulty lock. We all would have saved time and expense, if she just had exchange the faulty lock with a working lock and written a report of the incident when it happened. Please train your employees to value their customers time and give them the authority to make sound judgment and write a report to explain their decisions. The individual units can use more light. The only source of light runs along the walkway. There is no outlet to plug in a light or over head lights in the units. So far the area near my unit is kept very neat and clean. Thank you.

Clean, easy, good location. Perhaps a little tricky to find as it's tucked in off the main drag. Made an online reservation and was in a unit in a few hours. Friendly helpful agents and clean facility. There was one fee not disclosed on the web, or at least I didn't see it until going over the rental agreement. That said they've still got about the best competitive rate around and it's only month to month. A recommended spot in my opinion. Thanks Life Storage.

I called on Memorial Day and got the customer service main offices they took my call quickly and found and reserved me a unit and found me an open facility I immediately drive over spent less than 10 min to fill out paperwork and started to load my new unit great service Patrick R
